Yo Deschamps is a French-Australian landscape photographer based in Western Australia.

Born in the heart of the French Alps, he spent his youth in a tiny remote village surrounded by high mountains and glacier valleys.

In this exceptional and beautiful environment, he developed his interest in hiking and mountain exploration at an early age and, later, in nature photography.

As a photographer, he has an insatiable desire to capture nature's pristine beauty through his camera.

Yo’s journey has been self-teaching and exploring to immerse himself in landscape photography.
Armed with determination and an unyielding passion for photography, he embarked on this adventurous path without formal training or guidance.

His camera became his faithful companion as he ventured into some untouched corners of the planet, ready to freeze the fleeting moments in time.

Witnessing nature's grandeur brings an inexplicable joy. He learnt to capture the rawness and purity of these surroundings, allowing viewers to connect with the harmony in nature's embrace.

He had to become a student of nature. He sought to understand the intricate dance between light and shadow, the quick colour shifts at sunrise and sunset, and the silent whispers of the wind that caress the land.
